The Bowie, a luxury high-rise apartment building located in Downtown Austin's Market District, was once a premiere place to call home. However, the quality of living has considerably deteriorated under the management of RPM Living. What was once a welcoming and vibrant community has become unlivable and unsanitary, leading to increasing dissatisfaction among residents and the formation of a tenants union. 

The issues are numerous and severely impact residents' daily lives. Toxic black mold infestations are a major health concern that has been insufficiently addressed despite repeated complaints. The elevators often break down, inconveniencing residents and posing potential safety risks. Air conditioning units frequently fail, leaving residents sweltering during Austin's intense 100-degree summer heat. We have also experienced illegal water shutoffs, directly impacting their ability to perform basic functions in our own homes. On top of that, disruptive construction adds to the stress by creating constant noise and debris. These conditions are unacceptable for what should be a premium living experience.

We, the residents of The Bowie, demand change. Repeated issues and lack of adequate responses from RPM Living indicate a need for new management. We need a competent management company that values residents' well-being and maintains the property to the standards advertised to us.

There are solutions: We propose hiring a management company with proven expertise in maintaining luxury properties. This new management should prioritize swift and effective responses to maintenance issues, ensure transparent communication, and uphold the integrity of The Bowie’s amenities and infrastructure. This change can restore The Bowie to its intended standard of living and provide us with the comfort and safety we deserve.
