I am an ardent fan of the Houston Astros, and it deeply saddens me to see our beloved team under the management of a bench coach. Joe Espada's lack of expertise in managing the bullpen has been evident and detrimental to our team's performance. The Houston Astros, known for their strong performance in Major League Baseball (MLB), deserve a manager who can guide them effectively.

Under Espada's management, we've seen questionable decisions that have affected games' outcomes. The lack of strategic use of the bullpen is one such concern. A manager plays a crucial role in deciding when to pull pitchers from games and which relievers to use in high-pressure situations - decisions that can make or break a game. Espada’s recent decisions have resulted in losses that should have been wins. The Astros are off to the worst 20 game start since 2016, they are 6-14 this year so far, and are 5th of 5 in the AL West division.

The Astros have had an illustrious history making the ALCS (semifinals) for 7 consecutive seasons, as well as 2 World Series titles since their inception in 1962. We need someone at the helm who understands this legacy and has proven experience leading teams at this level.

We're not asking for drastic changes; just leadership that aligns with our team’s potential and reputation. As fans, we want what is best for our team – leadership that will take us back to being World Series contenders consistently.
