18,000,000 kids. That's the number of kids that are forced to do IXL. I say forced to, because most kids aren't CHOOSING to do this, they are being told to from adults. IXL makes kids afraid to make mistakes, which is a key factor that helps you learn. Although it is highly unlikely that we will get rid of IXL completely, it is a possibility for kids in Henrico County Public Schools to stop it. I am not calling for the complete removal for math-learning websites, but find replacements that are much better than IXL for kids. Pretty much no other site like IXL has received this much backlash, and I believe that says something. Sign this petition, and save the wellbeing and education of you, your classmates, and Henrico County Public Schools posterity.
