Having lived in the area for 35 years, our family has personally witnessed the steady deterioration of Garfield Street, located between West Chicago and Westfield Street in Redford, Michigan. We've repeatedly reached out to Wayne County, making dozens of phone calls over the years to address the poor condition of the road. While asphalt has occasionally been applied as a temporary fix, its ongoing deterioration continues to cause significant damage to our vehicles. Every drive down this road becomes a potential risk to our safety and an added expense due to frequent car repairs.
