On August 5th, 2024 the Trump victory was sealed when Jamie Harrison and Democratic National Committee vice chairs took the choice of who our nominee would be away from us, the Democratic voters.

They chose a candidate that NO ONE prior to Biden’s withdrawal from the nomination ever said “At least we have a superstar like Kamala as backup” in the 4 years she was VP. No other woman of color (Oprah, Michelle Obama) was allowed to pitch their candidacy. Mark Kelly and Gavin Newsom were left out of the process as well. Somehow, the DNC believed that they had the authority to take the nomination process away from us, the voter, and choose our candidate by themselves. The results were the strongest candidates weren’t allowed to duke it out, the American people didn’t get to hear all of our viewpoints and we were left with a candidate that has almost no presidential personality whatsoever. THEY are responsible for this loss. And THEY don’t deserve to lead our party any longer. Please make your voice heard and hold the DNC accountable for their failure. They failed us and democracy. DON’T REWARD FAILURE OR WE WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE.
