We, the undersigned, believe and affirm that the Jackson Township (Morgan County, IN) Property Tax Percentage Rate Increase, that was voted on in 2024 by the Jackson Township Board of Trustees, is egregious, and was approved without proper notification of the public as required by the Legal Code of the State of Indiana. We believe and affirm that no legitimate input from the affected public was had, and that the trustees have forgone their sworn duty and obligation to the residents of Jackson Township. We believe that this increase is onerous, and detrimental to the Township as a whole. And, as a taxpayer residing in Jackson Township, we are asking for it's complete and unconditional repeal.
