So basically my friend Miguel was loosing in a Soccer game, and a Player on the opposing team was taunting him and would not give the ball back to start back play. Miguel asked nicely 3 times for him to give the ball back, but the Kid put it in his shirt and kept running his mouth. Miguel slapped it out of his shirt and the Kid pushed him away, so Miguel got in his face. Miguel got a red card, which is supposed kick him out for the rest of the game and suspend him for the next game. But the ref wanted to suspend him for the whole tournament that is next week (which are the last games of the season, hence suspending him for the rest of the season). The Manager, Coach, and his parents have been contacting the refs on the suspension, but to no avail. They say they are going by the rules, but they are only supposed to suspend him for one game. Sign this petition to help try to appeal to the removal of the suspension of Miguel so that he can finish his final games with Maryville Junior High soccer.
