I pen this petition today to protect our constitutional rights, but also hope. I am not alone in feeling that Florida's CS/CS/HB 3 law, enacted in 2024, undermines our cherished constitutional rights of free Speech and expression. We are only a few voices in a chorus that's growing louder by the day, disturbed by how this legislation seems to undermine our most treasured freedoms.

CS/CS/HB 3, in its limiting stance, infringes upon the yearned liberties Americans hold close. Looking at the protests sweeping across the country against similar legislation, it's clear that the fight to protect our civil liberties is a national concern. We believe that every American deserves the right to express themselves freely and that any legislation infringing upon that bedrock right risks eroding the essence of our Nation. 

This is why we are calling upon the Florida State Legislature to reconsider and repeal CS/CS/HB 3. We are not advocating for anarchy; rather, we seek to uphold democratic principles that ensure our society remains free, dynamic, and respectful of every individual's inherent rights.
