Hi everyone!

Thank you all for joining in on the push to repeal 50-a, and supporting the Safer New York Act. 

Tirelessly, hundreds of thousands have been calling on the NYS legislature to pass the entire Safer NY Act, including a full repeal of 50-a with no attempts at modification. This bill went to legislation today and we should have an answer by the end of the week. I have a meeting on Thursday for a detailed update on this so I'll keep you posted!

The public's response and mobilization on this has never before been seen by our legislatures, and I cannot thank you enough for raising your voice. 

Raising awareness around our laws is paramount to change. There are 22 other states with laws (loopholes) similar to 50-a and I encourage you to also take a look at your state, and join the fight there too.

I believe strongly in the power of people to create change, and again, I thank you for your support!
