We are asking residents and road users to come together to request that the section of road from the bottom of Harry Road up to the intersection at the bottom of Grandview Road be repaved.

This stretch of road has become extremely deteriorated, with extensive potholes and uneven pavement. It is getting to the point where drivers are forced to swerve around potholes just to avoid damaging their vehicles, creating an unnecessary safety concern for everyone using the road.

This isn’t about wanting a smoother-looking road — the condition of the road is becoming a genuine safety and maintenance issue. Constantly driving through deep potholes can cause damage to tires, rims, suspension, steering components and other parts of vehicles, while sudden swerving to avoid them can create hazards for oncoming traffic, cyclists, pedestrians and other road users.
