The bike coop located on Woodward Ave just south of 7 Mile is a community center & volunteer bike shop for our grassroots organization known as Universe Fireweed City (and the Goldengate Restoration Project) in Detroit, MI. We are responsible for beautification efforts underway in the area & are being evicted after volunteering to rescue the building working doing restoration work for nearly 2 years . . . it is a vital part of this community project & we need support to help save this building before plans for demolition.
