To respect the freedom and privacy of the people David Scott represents
The Issue
This issues is important to preserve the rights to freedom and privacy that Georgians value.
Georgian's for Privacy, a campaign to make our representatives OWN their vote. On the agenda today: Mr. David Scott .. or Rep. David Scott of the 13th District of Georgia. Why is Mr. Scott of keen interest? Well i'm glad you asked. Today, he voted for the approval for one of the worst privacy bills that have ever passed through the House of Representatives. This bill is called CISPA.
"Remember SOPA and PIPA, the terrible "anti-piracy" bills the internet raged into nonexistence? There's a new one, and it's maybe worse: the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act. CISPA. Here's everything you need to know about the worst privacy disaster our country has ever faced."
Much thanks to Gizmodo, people who value and speak up for privacy. And here in Georgia, we like our privacy.

The Low Down
Here we are Americans. Sitting at a crossroads.
To the left: the Bill of Rights.. The Constitution... and the ideas of our founders.
To the right: A government that controls the flow of information, trampling on the freedom of speech, knowledge and the pursuit of happiness. A totalitarian government. Imagine China.
Is it this extreme? Yes America, it is. How our rights get trampled on is not an overnight process. It happens bit by bit, until one day we wake up and realize that we are telling our kids and grandchildren "I remember the good ol' days when we had freedom and privacy."
How we can stop such nonsense as this CISPA bill and any future infringement's on our rights as Americans, is to take action!
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (www.eff.org) has great resources and stands up for our cyber and digital rights. These rights are imperative to us currently, and even more so for future generations. The dependence on technology, electronics and electronic information is growing everyday and becoming the cornerstone of daily life and even the infrastructure of America and it's assets.
Please stand up. Please do something. Georgian's for Privacy.
ANNOUNCEMENT TO AMERICA'S REPRESENTATIVES:
You trample on our cyber freedoms and privacy.. we will make you own your vote. Peacefully through educating the American population on the importance of such threats as CISPA and the implications it can have, we WILL replace you. Much like Dr. King, I have a dream too. It's a dream of privacy and freedom. We seek to take ownership of this thing called 'The American Way of Life', preserve and protect its value... we WILL find people who represent us and our values... and put them in the positions you are taking for granted.
Mr. David Scott - Representative David Scott of Georgia's 13th district - Listen to our concerns, Listen to the people, Listen to America. Take a step back and think for a second, think about this decision of yours. You have gotten quite comfortable in your seat in the House of Representatives that you have lost focus and touch with the people you represent.
You will OWN this vote sir.
