Reopen UConn's Buckley Dining Hall on weekends

Reopen UConn's Buckley Dining Hall on weekends
The Issue
The Buckley and Shippee Residence halls are located in the South East corner of campus. These two residence halls are where all First-Year Honor students are required to live as it is the location of the Honors Learning Community. New this year, Dining Services, decided to close the dining hall (Buckley) that services these two residence halls completely on weekends. This is both unfair to the high-achieving Honor students (who should be at least treated the same as other students and be afforded a dining hall that is open on weekends) and is also troublesome for students to walk to South dining hall or Whitney for dinner. It's simply unfair that Buckley is the ONLY dining hall that is closed on weekends. In the first 3 weeks of this semester, it has already become evident this is not sustainable, especially when it is snowing, etc. in the future. Plese reopen Buckley dining hall on weekends - thank you.
