Complimenting Suffolk County Parks Manorville Hills trail systems spearheaded by Ken Kindler, is this DEC project, both mark a milestone in the effort to connect trail systems to outdoor opportunities in the Long Island Pine Barrens. Unclear, is if the DEC project includes mountain bicycling opportunities (as Manorville does). BOTH don't have any public meeting space. This is why we are still advocating to Reopen the Pine Barrens Trail Center open.
