When it first opened 20 years ago, the Busch Faculty Dining Hall had a dramatic impact on the intellectual environment for faculty, staff and graduate students on the Busch campus. With large round tables for seating groups and healthy and appealing food choices at reasonable prices, it enabled social and intellectual interaction for research groups and provided a unique chance for casual meetings between members of different departments. The Student Center food court is too crowded and noisy and the seating is not designed for this kind of interaction. It's time to reopen the Busch Faculty Dining Hall!
