Reopen my mother's missing person case

Reopen my mother's missing person case
Why this petition matters

Dear world,
My mother Hannah Jane Rowell has been missing since September 1, 1993 from the streets of Eureka Ca. The last place I ever saw her was in Ukiah, Ca at Schat's bakery. But she was last seen in Eureka, Ca wearing floral leggings, sandals, and a black sweater.
My mother had gotten into some trouble with the wrong crowd of people. It's obvious that something bad happened to her because of this. But it's not fair that I have had to live my life without knowing what happened to her. I need closure.
Detective Swanson was one of the officers that had concern about this case, but he passed away in the line of duty in 1996.
Eureka PD gave me some gory details about the missing person report in 2004. They also showed me pictures of a woman who had gotten an ID in my mothers name a few months before and after my mother had gone missing. Apparently they didn't find this suspicious, but I do.
I'd like this cold case to be reopened. I have asked the detective to speak with me by phone or e-mail and she will not tell me anything unless it's in person. But the last time I went to Eureka PD in 2008, I was told they couldn't tell me anything because it was a cold case.
Please help me get this cold case reopened so that my family and I can have closure and I can lay my mom to rest.
Sincerely,
Tabetha Rowell-Connell
