My beloved 15-year-old nephew, Tripp Brazeale, lost his life under circumstances that demand justice. Tripp was a bright and loving young boy, who had his entire future ahead of him. For him to be taken away from our family so suddenly has been a heart-wrenching and devastating experience.

Tripp was more than just my nephew; he was a precious member of our family, cherished by everyone who knew him. The pain of losing him is compounded by the knowledge that the investigation into his death was brief and lacking the depth it warranted. The evidence surrounding the actions of Officer Alvin Bynum, also known as Trey Bynum, is overwhelming, pointing toward a deliberate act rather than an accident.
