Local Hardgate resident Sarah Young and Faifley Community Council are petitioning Post Office Counters to reopen Hardgate Post Office to be based potentially within Tesco store at Hardgate Cross. The Post Office is the heart of a community and its surrounding areas and provide the following services

Financial 
Bill payments
Telephony
Passport Checking
Other services

Since the closure of the Store which sited the previous Post Office local residents need to travel into Clydebank to access Post Office services, this post office is situated in the centre and many struggle to get to it as its quite a walk from the bus stop and the car parks at either end of the centre especially if they need a parcel sent or returning goods a local post office would benefit many locally
