Work on the firehouse has been underway for about a year now. If you drive by during the week, you'll often see contractors hard at work. 

JCFD Chief of Department Jack Johnson posted today on Facebook that the firehouse should be open by August!

I will wait until the firehouse is officially opened before closing this petition and "declaring victory". However, I would like to extent gratitude for everyone that signed this petition, shared it, and emailed their councilperson to get this project to where it is.
