I, along with other residents in Ammon, Idaho, have been severely affected by the closures on Eagle and Curlew. Our once accessible neighborhoods have become difficult mazes, causing undue stress, wasted time, and exacerbating traffic issues on alternative routes. It seems that the law infringement issue that these closures aimed to address is still persistent. Instead, law-abiding citizens are the ones paying the price.

These restrictions have not improved safety or convenience, but rather they have done quite the opposite. We now have to contend with a more complicated route to reach our homes. Furthermore, the diverted traffic has led to congestion on our secondary streets, creating a new set of issues for us and our neighbors.

As a collective voice of the community, we are distressed, frustrated, and in desperate need of a solution that works for everyone. We strongly believe that the reconsideration of the closures on Eagle and Curlew is the first step towards resolving this issue. This petition pleads with the city officials of Ammon, Idaho, to listen to our concerns and urgently address the situation by opening our streets back up.
