Many people who came along on our Prisoner Tours will have met Mark, not only  an authentic source of information about life in Boggo Road but also a talented artist.

The future at Boggo Road Gaol (Jail) needs to include positive reuses - such as the establishment of a prisoner art space and workshops to teach visitors.  

Mark is currently teaching live portrait painting workshops at Banshees in Ipswich.  At a recent Sunday session he had 8 students painting a portrait with him for 3 hours.

In the past at the Road we hosted temporary exhibitions and hosted some incredible art installations and many events - including fashion, music, light and soundscape designers, bands and performers.
