Reopen The Harwich To Esbjerg FerryCopenhagen, Denmark
Mar 25, 2016
Hello! To begin I would like to wish you a very happy Easter and a very nice break over the Easter week. March has been a very hectic month, but a month that brought us plenty of results in which I will outline below. We are now in a great position to pressure ferry operators into ensuring a ferry service is set up between Harwich and Esbjerg. At the start of March we were endorsed my the Harwich MP and Bernard Jenkin who promotes our campaign for the reinstatement of the route. I am constantly working with members of our Facebook group to ensure we get the correct political support and recognition. We have lots of plans in terms of politics, which includes writing to MP's from Germany, France, and The Netherlands about the traffic increase after the loss of the route. We have also been very grateful from the media support we have had since January this year. We have had many articles in Danish and in English which have helped us get to 1,500 pledged supporters, and we advise that if you are in media you get in touch to help us reach our target of 80,000. I am away from Tuesday the 29th of March until Monday the 11th of April, so emails may be few and far between but I will try my best. The nature of the country I am going to means emails get blocked and so do websites, but I will get them all sorted on the flight home and at home etc... As always please remember to join our Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/418160151706839/?fref=ts) We share all of our ideas there so you will be a bit more up to date if you join, we are a great community that is just simply great! Also, please share our petition with all your friends on Facebook/Twitter/Linkedin/Instagram it really helps and every little helps! Have a great Easter George
