The National Iranian American Council, NIAC, has long advocated for bills that have benefited the Islamic Republic of Iran's government, and not the people. Although their website and resources seem legitimate, and although we too call for a diplomatic approach for the Iranian people, we, the undersigned, do not believe that the NIAC organization represents the Iranian-American community, or the people of Iran, nor do we believe that NIAC has Iranian people's interest at heart. 

Advocating for easier banking regulations, which would lead for easier money laundering avenues for people tied to the Iranian government, and advocating for the continuance of the JCPOA at current situation in Iran is not what the people of Iran want.

Pausing the JCPOA negotiations will send the right signal to the Iranian people that the United States stands with the Iranian people, not the Islamic Republic of Iran. 

We, the undersigned, ask all Candidates, Representatives, and Senators to renounce your endorsement by the NIAC organization immediately, and cut all ties with this organization, its lobbyists, and all persons connected to this organization, and not to accept any funds from this organization.

We seek diplomatic solutions for Iran; minimum interference by the United States, but maximum support for the people of Iran.
