Reno residents, please help save the Reno Mercantile Building!

The 140+ year old building on the corner of Commercial Row and Sierra St is currently owned by Whitney Peak and after promising they were going to restore the building, they have just announce it is to be demolished within a month. They are saying it is too unsafe for restoration but, with today's engineering, that just means it's not worth their time and money. Reno has already lost too much of its historical buildings to vacant lots and uninspiring concrete structures so, please, sign this petition to let Whitney Peak and the City of Reno know that demolishing our past is not what the people of Reno want.
