Status update

Good morning Everyone,

I would like to let you all know I have been in contact with a couple of Saint John city councillors over the last couple weeks from ward 3. Eric Savoie has e-mailed me this morning and stated the following:

"Thank you for your patience while I looked into this matter.

I have received an update from staff and learned that the request to rename Station One Skatepark in honour of Nick Vincent was referred to the City's Civic Commemoration Committee for consideration under the City's commemorative naming process.

At this time, I understand the committee has been reviewing the matter and staff are working through the process. I will be happy to share any further updates as they become available."

I would like to thank each and every one of you for signing, sharing, donating and helping to see this to fruition. I stated from day one, I will pursue this to the fullest and I fully intend to do so. Nick would do the very same as you all know. 

I will keep you all posted as I receive further information/updates. Hopefully my next update will be an announcement of approval!
