Nickolaj Vincent was more than just another resident of Saint John, NB, Canada. He was a pioneer, instrumental in the construction of the now iconic Station One Skateboard Plaza. This is no small feat considering that Saint John is home to over 70,000 people and the plaza stands as a significant urban landmark. Nick's endeavors ensured that the youth of our city had a safe and dedicated space to practice their craft. It is estimated that hundreds of skateboarders use this plaza annually, an impressive number for a relatively small city like ours. His devotion to the cause has enriched our community substantially and inspired many youngsters to pursue their passion confidently. 

To honour his memory and the impact he had on our city, it seems only fitting that a memorial is established at Station One Skateboard Plaza where his legacy physically manifests,  and the park name itself is changed to reflect his tireless work to ensure it's completion.
