Going about this process, I went about all of the right channels. Starting this petition in the hopes that this would make our campus boldly say that we would turn in the right direction instead I was told to wait.

Everyone waited who signed this petition for CMU to act almost 1,300 folks within a week. Now this is the message that I am told from President Davies and Board of Trustees.

Message from  President Davies:

“I have asked for a thorough review of both their contributions to the university and their history of racist behavior, as I believe it is important to weigh both as we consider this decision. I will present these findings to our Board of Trustees in the near future.” 

What contributions can triumph racism in all due respect sir. I can’t believe in 2020 at my respective university I am asking to be welcomed on campus.
