Hello everyone, just updating that EZT Council passed an identical motion to the one passed by Zorra Council in January. Yay!  I am expecting that the council staff will bring a proposed new name to the councils this fall for approval.

We all have recently received a notice from Canada Post that they have updated the 9th Line name to the Zorra/East Zorra-Tavistock Line name and we have one year to update our mailing addresses. Canada Post have also said that they will update the name to match the municipality if it changes. So if Zorra and EZT councils choose a new road name this fall, we all *should* only need to update our mailing addresses one time.

In the months ahead please watch for any opportunity to give public support to name change; it is unusual for a road name change to be initiated through the community rather than from the top down.
