Bradley Lowery, the brave six year old Sunderland AFC fan from County Durham, captured the hearts of the entire nation after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. He has now sadly passed away.

My thoughts are with the Lowery family at this unimaginably difficult time. As a father, with a son just Bradley’s age, it’s breaks my heart to think what they are going through.

Brad became a mascot for the team. He has become a symbol of love and hope, and nobody can think of Sunderland AFC without thinking of him.

Because of this, he deserves a permanent feature in his memory. The renaming of one of the stands at the Stadium of Light is the perfect idea. Please sign this petition to make it happen.
