Softball and Bill Redmond go hand in hand in the Carrollton Community.  Mr. Redmond has coached and  mentored hundreds of us Alumni throughout his years.

Renaming the Softball fields after him will bring a great dedication to him after many many years of support and always putting the girls first and always pushing them to be a better player, person, and teammate. He spent many years on those fields; from his daughter to his granddaughter and beyond. He enjoyed watching the growth of the players and would always show up for them rain or shine, injured or right as rain.

Mr. Redmond dedicated much of his time to the Carrollton softball program. He took pride as a coach of softball and the Carrollton school district. When the district didn’t have the money for the upkeep, he did it on his own to make sure the girls had a field to play on.

Mr. Redmond is a staple in the community and should be honored as such.
