In recent years, we have witnessed the tragic loss of innocent children's lives due to conflicts in the Middle East. It is reported that many of these children were martyred as a result of actions taken by Israeli forces. This petition seeks to honor their memory and raise awareness about this ongoing tragedy by renaming streets and highways in Turkiye’s major cities after these young victims.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reports that between 2008-2020, over 3,400 Palestinian children were killed or injured due to conflict-related violence. These are not just numbers; they represent individual lives cut short and dreams unfulfilled.

Renaming streets is a powerful way to keep their memories alive and remind us all about the cost of war on innocent civilians. By doing so, we can ensure that their sacrifice does not go unnoticed and serves as a constant reminder for peace.

We urge local governments in Turkiye’s major cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir among others to consider this proposal seriously. Let us pay tribute to these young souls who lost their lives too soon by immortalizing them through our cityscapes.
