Hello everyone! I've recently found another website that's mentioned our petition and some others that were created to change the name of Texas schools. Also, recently Mario Salas and Tommy Calvert and others are trying to demand the confederate monument at Travis park to be removed, and also Bexar County officials are discussing to take down confederate symbols from city property. Supposedly, on July 21st the county Commissioners will be holding a meeting in the old county courthouse to discuss the removal of confederate related plaques and markings on county. Must be there at 9:30am, second floor. If anyone could attend supporting our cause, this would be beneficial for the name change at Robert E. Lee high school and the removal of confederate flags in San Antonio. I am going to contact the local commissioners and the district county officers as well. One commissioner is already on board, Tommy Calvert. I encourage everyone to email him and the other commissioners.
