I am one of the thousands of students who had the privilege of being coached by Mrs.Toni Gorman. Her impact on the Edgewood District and the community at large is unparalleled. Before her tenure, our district only had coed baseball, but thanks to her passion and dedication, we now have a thriving softball culture.

Toni Gorman has tirelessly coached teams to the playoffs numerous times, instilling not only the skills but also the values that come from being part of a team.

She's much more than a coach; she's a mentor to countless students, fostering self-confidence, teamwork, and perseverance. Her commitment has left an indelible mark on all of us. As a tribute to her unwavering dedication and the barriers she broke through during her successful career, it would be a fitting honor to rename the Tiger Field/Edgewood Sports Complex to the "Toni Gorman Field."

This change would not only acknowledge her incredible contributions but also serve as an inspiration to future generations of students. Naming the field after Mrs. Gorman would be more than a mere name change; it would be a constant reminder of the power of determination and the difference one person can make in a community.
