Dear Members of the Board

We, the undersigned students, faculty, alumni, and community members, respectfully submit this petition to name the school auditorium the "Wayne Davidson Auditorium" in honor of the late Wayne Davidson.

Wayne Davidson was a beloved and dedicated theatre educator who made a profound impact on our school and the surrounding community. His years of service as a theatre teacher inspired countless students to explore the arts, build confidence, and develop lifelong skills in performance and production. Beyond the walls of our school, Mr. Davidson was instrumental in helping to create the UTEP Dinner Theatre, an institution that continues to provide valuable artistic and educational opportunities to the El Paso community.

His commitment to fostering creativity and his unwavering support for students have left an enduring legacy. Naming the auditorium in his honor would be a fitting tribute to a man who dedicated his life to enriching our school and community through the arts. This act of recognition would serve as a reminder of the positive influence Mr. Davidson had on so many lives and would inspire future generations to pursue their artistic passions with the same dedication and enthusiasm.
