Steve Pilarski, a cherished member of our community, has dedicated countless hours and unyielding passion to the Robinson Township Girls Softball League (RTGSL). His service of over 30 years as a former 2 time RTGSL president, coach, esteemed umpire, and committed Allegheny County Senior Deputy Manager has touched the lives of many within our community. Steve is not just a leader, but a pillar who has continuously prioritized the growth, safety, and joy of young athletes at Burkett Park.
Steve Pilarski is fighting a brave and courageous battle with terminal metastatic Merkel cell cancer. As he nears the end of his journey, we have a singular opportunity to honor his legacy and immense contributions by renaming the Burkett Park softball field in his honor. This re-naming not only serves as a symbol of gratitude for his dedication but also ensures that his impact is sewn into the fabric of our community for generations to come.
Steve's roles go beyond professional dedication. He is a beloved father, grandfather, son, husband, uncle, and friend, qualities that further reflect the compassion and commitment he has shared with us all.
