Becker’s denazification file (D 180/2 No. 191696) confirms what we suspected: he was classified as a Mitläufer, a Nazi "fellow traveler."

This wasn’t just a label it was the official post-war judgment that Becker was complicit in the Nazi regime. Mitläufer was the classification for those who supported Nazism but weren’t leading figures. It’s proof of his active involvement, not innocence.

Medicine cannot honour a Mitläufer. Becker Muscular Dystrophy must be renamed to DMD Type 2.
