I am overwhelmed with joy at the progress of our movement! Just today we passed the 500 signature mark!

In the process of gathering signatures, I was educated on the fact that the Tampa Bay MLB professional baseball team also once had a demonic name. In 1998 they debuted their team under the moniker the "Tampa Bay Devil Rays".

When majority owner Stuart Sternberg took over as managing general partner of the organization prior to the 2006 season, he decided to drop the devil!

Since that time, not only do they have an above .500 winning percentage (from an abysmal .399 winning percentage with no postseason appearances), but they also won their first pennant in 2008 to reach the World Series for the first time in franchise history!

When you drop the devil, success certainly follows!!

Smarten up ASU and the ASU Student Government! A Rose Bowl Title and National Championship would look good on us!!
