Growing up in the neighborhood, I along with countless others, had the privilege of being positively influenced at the Boys and Girls Club, under the guidance of Joe Fay. For years, Joe dedicated his time and energy to serving the youth of Kingston as the Director of the Club. His commitment to the community has been immeasurable, making a significant difference in countless lives. Joe's service has transcended time and is remembered by generations.

In recognition of his service, we are proposing to name a portion of Greenkill Ave., where he has left such a large imprint, after him. The renaming of this stretch of road to "JOE FAY WAY" would not just be a physical testament to his work, but it will also serve as a symbol of inspiration to the current and future generations of Kingston's youth.

Our city officials have the opportunity to honor Joe's dedication to our community in a tangible and lasting manner that commemorates his essential contributions to the youth and the city of Kingston as a whole.
