Remove "Where In The Hell Is The Lavender House: The Longmont Potion Castle Story" from Streaming Platforms
The Issue
For the last year and a half, I have been witnessing an injustice. Chicken Soup For The Soul Entertainment has ceased paying all royalties on a documentary about the world’s greatest prank phone caller, Longmont Potion Castle. This documentary, titled "Where In The Hell Is The Lavender House: The Longmont Potion Castle Story", continues to be available on various streaming platforms despite this blatant disregard for fair payment.
Longmont Potion Castle's unique talent and creativity deserve recognition and respect. However, what is happening now is far from it. His work is being exploited without any financial compensation in return.
In order to ensure LPC receives fair payment for his work, we demand that the Lavender House film be removed from all streaming platforms immediately until a new agreement can be reached with a reliable distributor who respects artists' rights and pays royalties promptly.
This issue goes beyond just one artist; it speaks volumes about how creative industries treat their talents. If we allow this to continue unchecked, who will be next?
Let us stand together against such practices that exploit artists' hard work without due compensation. Sign this petition today to support our cause of ensuring fair treatment for all artists up arrr.
