Remove Unproductive Censorship from CPS Computers

Remove Unproductive Censorship from CPS Computers
The Issue
Students are used to our computers having some amount of restrictions on them. It makes sense that administrators do not want us browsing social media or playing games while we are supposed to be focusing on class. However, CPS has recently taken this to extreme levels. Even at home, a majority of websites are blocked. We are no longer able to use our Google accounts to log in to websites, even helpful ones such as Quizlet and the New York Times.
This does not achieve anything in regards to making students more focused. Instead, it has resulted in students simply being confused and annoyed. I believe these moves on CPS' part are misguided and ultimately useless. If you sign this petition, hopefully the administration will reconsider their choices.
