Turning Point USA is a student organization that has become increasingly controversial in educational institutions across the United States. At West Chester East High School, the presence of this group has raised significant concerns among students, parents, and faculty members who believe it disrupts the educational environment and promotes divisive ideologies.

This club is an easy way to incorporate hate and discrimination within our high school. This should not be normalized. Educational institutions should be a platform for learning and growth, free from political partisanship and the tensions it can cause. We do not have any political partisanship groups in our school currently, why should we create one now? Especially one that only promotes discrimination amongst certain students. This group would not allow specific demographics of students to feel safe, as this organization has a history of discriminatory policies. As parents, educators, and students who are invested in the wellbeing of our school community, we must ensure that our schools do not allow hate or discrimination to be tolerated whatsoever.

By allowing Turning Point USA to operate within our school, we risk compromising the inclusive environment that is vital for the success of each student.

We urge the administration of West Chester East High School to take immediate action by removing Turning Point USA from the school. This decisive step will affirm the school's commitment to neutrality, inclusivity, and the promotion of an educational environment where every student feels valued and respected.
