The word nigger (neger) is still in the dictionary of Holland and a lots of people think it is still normal to use the word ''neger''. But if you just read a little bit about the dutch slavetrade and colonisation of suriname and the Antilles, from a few different history sources, you will find out that the word ''neger'' was used as a word to describe slaves from a African descent or slaves with a darker skin tone. This word ''neger'' is still being used in the Netherlands to describe a people from African descent or to describe a people with a darker skin colour.

This word ''neger'' is not relevant any more in this new age of so called: ''multicultural-democracy''. A lot of Surinamees people and people from the Antilles are not just ''niggers'' or ''negers'' .. we all have unique decendents from a lots of beautifull countries like: Ghana, Nigeria, South Afrika, India, Indonesia, Native americans from south america and the list goes on. It seems unrelevant to just call us ''negers''.. the word ''neger'' belongs to the slavetrade history and not in the national dictionary!

And besides that this word ''neger'' is unrelevant to describe a people from Suriname, Antilles, and much more, this word also confuses and frustrates lots of people that live in the Netherlands, Suriname and Antilles and much more countries.
