Thanks to everyone for their support of the petition to stop the madness that is the 405 Toll Lanes. Unfortunately, 2,295 people have viewed the petition (physically clicked and opened it), but only 105 have signed it. That's not a great batting average. Tomorrow evening (Sunday night), I will close the petition and declare VICTORY. Not because we got enough signatures, or because anything has changed (yet), but because we have 105 like-minded people who I know will spread the word that what the OCTA did and continues to do - approving Toll roads subsidized by public tax funding - is wrong. 

Unlike the lanes themselves which are permanent, the toll signs can be shut off and removed. I am confident that this will happen eventually as the real-life implications of bad traffic and huge toll fees slaps some sense into those who didn't bother to sign the petition and the millions more who never saw it. This may take years, but I know it will happen. I encourage everyone here to make it happen sooner rather than later, by being a vocal opponent, and spreading the word. Talk to news stations if you ever have the chance, petition lawmakers, and attend OCTA board meetings. The Tolls are only 16 miles now, but let me assure you, now that their foot is in the door, if they see little to no opposition, Tolls will be on all of our FREEways before you know it. 

I have sent the petition to the OCTA board, so they know about it. I will continue to fight with the limited time and resources I have. Thanks again.
