Ghadira Bay which is located in Mellieha is one of the few public beaches we have in Malta. The beach should be left empty of deck chairs and umbrellas which are set up early every single day and have not been rented out.  Although there has been an agreement back in 2007 for consessions, those responsible are not abiding by the rules, thus leaving no space for people to sit at the shoreline. People are being asked to move at the back of the beach and even threatened!!.  Complaints have been going on but apparently someone is hiding the problem under the carpet.  Other places include Comino, Paradise Bay, Armier and Little Armier.  This is  injustice, the beaches are public. Give them back !
