PS398Q opened in 2019 in a warm community with a brand new building. 18 teachers and staff members have left the PS398Q community since just 2020.  In 2023 teachers filed a grievance against the administration and published letters detailing the hostile work environment created by the principal, Ms. Thus. 

She presents an image of L.E.A.R.N.(lead, empower, achieve, respect, nurture), but what happens when the school doors close is very different.  She has shamed students for not wearing their uniforms, called a student a little "doggie" over the loudspeaker for not using the urinal properly, and allowed students to go unsupervised for periods of time. 

This is not a safe environment for our children and it's time for Ms. Thus to leave. Even if your child doesn't go to PS398Q, you're part of our community and our families need your help.

PS398Q abrió sus puertas en el año 2019 en una comunidad cálida con un edificio completamente nuevo.  Tristemente 18 maestros y miembros del personal han abandonado la comunidad de PS398Q desde el año 2020.
En  el año 2023, los maestros presentaron una queja contra la administración y publicaron cartas que detallan el ambiente de trabajo hostil creado por la directora, la Sra. Thus.

Ella  presenta una imagen de L.E.A.R.N (Aprendizaje), pero lo que sucede cuando las puertas de la escuela se cierran  es una realidad muy diferente.
Avergonzó  a un estudiante por no usar su uniforme, llamó a otro  "pequeño perrito" usando el altavoz, ya que el niño no usó apropiadamente el orinal y permitió que los estudiantes estuvieran sin supervisión por períodos de tiempo.

Este no es un entorno seguro para nuestros hijos y es hora de que la Sra. Thus se vaya. Incluso si su hijo no asiste a PS398Q, usted es parte de nuestra comunidad y nuestras familias necesitan su ayuda.
