I'm sure you all heard of iTunes, right?

Yes, iTunes is a great application to listen to your music and watch your purchased movies and TV shows all in one place, but when you are using iTunes through a computer, that's a different story.

You see, before you have access to your purchased content, you need to authorize your computer. Just to add insult to injury, you can only have up to five autorized computers at the same time. And just to add more insult to injury, you are only allowed to deauthorized all of your computers once per year, and who can believe it that this security measure is still ongoing after all these years.

I think we should put a stop to this security measure once and for all. This is not right for those who used iTunes on a daily basis because if you want to use iTunes on a different computer, you have to deauthorize the old computer and then authorize on the new computer. This is a hazzle to many iTunes users.

The big question is, what if you don't have access to that computer anymore and in other cases, what if you sold it or uninstalled the operating system (Windows or macOS) that it was associated with? Unfortunately, when you go to your account summary, it doesn't show the computers that are authorized under your account, but rather an option that allows you to deauthorize all of your computers associated with your account, but you can only use it once a year. This is a big concern for many users because you are limited and restricted to how many computers you can have authorized at the same time and how many times you can deauthorize all of them.

It is time to remove this old security measure completely once and for all. Overall, it's pointless to have this measure since Apple Music doesn't require it. A lot of users like me see no point of keeping this ancient security measure and it is best to get rid of the authrization measure for good. Apple, it is not OK for users to have the heartaches of de-authorizing and re-authorizing computers just to have access to the content that they PURCHASED.

Everyone should have the right to access their purchased content without having to authorize their computer to view it while having a limit to how many computers can be authorized at the same time.
