For over 43 years the country of Iran has been occupied by an Isis-and-Taliban-like regime which is funding global terrorism and has murdered thousands of Iranians since it's establishment. This government is by no means recognised by the people of Iran, and the only users of this emoji (known as Iran’s flag) are the supporters of the regime. People are setting this flag on fire in Iran and across the world.

After the revolution, the Islamic Extremists changed this flag into exactly what is currently Isis’ flag now, the lines surrounding each colour has the same writing as Isis flag’s “Allah Akbar”, paralleled with the surrounding white colour in the middle.

Iranians never use this emoji in their conversations, as it is a sign of Islamic republic and does not represent the country of Iran.

We request Unicode Consortium to urgently address this and fix the flag not just for Iranians, but for all people across the world.
