the residents of the estate, are asking for consideration to remove the existing hill and use the space to create much-needed additional parking.

Parking has become a significant issue for residents, with currently insufficient parking spaces available on the estate. Many residents struggle to find a safe and convenient place to park, particularly during busy periods. This can lead to vehicles being parked in unsuitable areas and can make access around the estate more difficult.

Removing the hill would create a substantial area of usable land that could potentially be transformed into a dedicated car park. This would provide considerably more parking spaces for residents and visitors, help reduce parking congestion, and make better use of the existing space.

We believe this proposal would provide a practical solution to an ongoing problem within the community. We are therefore asking the relevant council, housing association, landowner or responsible authority to investigate the feasibility of removing the hill and developing the area into additional parking for the benefit of residents.
