Our wrestling program has always been a source of pride and achievement in our community, a beacon for young athletes aspiring for greatness and teamwork. Unfortunately, under the current coaching leadership, we are witnessing the slow dismantling of what once was a respected and successful program.

The new coach has consistently displayed a lack of strategic vision, leading to poor performance in competitions and a demotivated team. Athletes who were once excited and eager to train are now disheartened, some even considering leaving the program altogether or transferring to other schools where they can receive adequate training and support. Coaches should be mentors who uplift and inspire, but this leader has instead fostered an environment of negativity and division.

Moreover, several parents have raised concerns about the coach's ability to create a safe and nurturing environment. There have been numerous reports of inappropriate behavior, including favoritism and unprofessionalism, which are deeply alarming and incompatible with the values we uphold.

Our wrestling program deserves a leader who is committed to the success and wellbeing of every athlete, one who respects diversity, encourages growth, and instills confidence. We call upon the school board to undertake an immediate review of the coaching methods and practices of our current coach.

REAL INTERACTIONS (still adding) 

1. She refused to let a wrestler with asthma have her inhaler during an asthma attack, then she proceeded to take her to a private area to scold her about being disrespectful towards the others time and that she was faking her asthma just for attention. 
2. She accused one of our male coaches of being inappropriate towards the female wrestlers because the stats said that the girls were in his hotel room, which was for a team meeting, but in the same case she encouraged the girls to “hang out” in her hotel room all the time for absolutely no reason. This all happened right before regionals to prevent our male coach from being able to go with to the tournament. After regionals had happened she proceeded to admit that she had lied to prevent him from coming with. 
3. We lost half of the girls team because the parents do not want them being involved with that coach at all. None of the girls’ parents want them to be associated with this coach because they feel that she is untrustworthy of coaching their kids.  If this coach is still coaching they will not be having a proper girls team.
