To the Honorable Mayor of Howell, New Jersey, Theresa Berger and the Lamar Advertising Company, 
The billboard on Route 9 North in Howell displays the message, "Side with Palestine, Side with Humanity." This isn't merely a political stance; it echoes Hamas propaganda against Israel. This message not only misleads but also conveniently overlooks the atrocities committed by Hamas, including kidnapping, rapes, the killing of infants, and murders against the civilian population of the Jewish state as well as using their own civilians as human shields.

Having this billboard in our community promotes misinformation and anti-Semitic propaganda, which can incite hate crimes against our Jewish neighbors. Hate crimes have skyrocketed by over 400% since October 7.

We call upon the Honorable Mayor of Howell, Theresa Berger, and the Lamar Advertising Company to promptly remove this billboard. While we respect every citizen's right to their opinion and free speech, public spaces should never serve as platforms for spreading hatred and dangerous misinformation. By supporting Israel, humanity stands in solidarity against terrorism and sends a clear message that violence and extremism will not be tolerated.
